Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, founded in 1956, is a Grade-A tertiary general hospital with orthopedics and burn surgery as its key disciplines. It has successively become the Fourth Clinical Medical School of Peking University, a clinical teaching hospital of Tsinghua University, an affiliated hospital and the Seventh Clinical Medical School of Capital Medical University, and has led the establishment of the School of Orthopedics and the Department of Burn and Wound Repair of Capital Medical University.

The hospital has 7 national key clinical specialties: Orthopedics, Hand Surgery, Burn Surgery, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Cardiovascular Medicine. Professor Zhou Yixin's team in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery has continuously led innovation in the fields of digital orthopedics and robot-assisted joint replacement. They pioneered the "analytical knee reconstruction surgery" internationally, deeply integrating surgical robots, analytical solvers, and personalized custom prostheses. The related results were published in internationally authoritative academic journals, and patient satisfaction increased to 97.6%.
